Anybody Wanna do THIS?

There seems to be a general shortage of feul over here in USA in spite of warmest winter since Vikings settled in Greenland helping us conserve petroleum based products. Salt caves ought to be FULL of crude oil from Texas and Alaska for conversion into gasoline to reduce prices for drivers during hard times over here, but gasoline and diesel fuel prices continue to climb. I have developed a concept for an automobile or motorcycle engine that runs on a mixture of water and metallic sodium. A small amount of sodium and water shall react violently at ambient temperature and pressure, allowing for a more efficient mass to energy conversion within a motor vehicle engine. The abundance of sea water, rich in sodium chloride does contain enough water AND sodium to replace ALL petroleum feuled engines worldwide for the next 50 million years in MY opinion. I challenge anyone to manufacture and sell vehicles that can be operated effifiently on this kind of feul, OR to retrofit existing autos to run on this feul mix, either exclusively, or as an hybrid. And I challenge this entrapeneur to design and distribute an infrastructure and means of safe dispensation for this volitile mixture. Or: Any ideas from YOU for ANY new and unthought of feul that shall prove cheaper and more pragmatic than solar cells, nickel-cadmium or other feul-cell hydrogen based electric battery requiring electric recharge that only encourages burning MORE additional coal, oil and gas or other petroleum to keep the electricity generation plants firing?

If an alternate way was found, the price would simply go up for it.

I'm hoping someone would invent an automobile that will run when fueled by water... by then water will be more than $3 per gallon.

My brain is not working about this topic...although I did some experiments with my daughter sometimes but only simple things...not on any kind of oil...I also read somewhere that corn oil can run the vehicle..not cooking oil just encase someone try...they said in the article its cheap to run and good for the environment...

Call me jean for short mahal

oh and p.s. some people here pay over $5.00 per gallon for water each time they buy bottled water--our tap water is perfectly drinkable.

Wishing you happiness

People must remember that it cost MORE in petroleum based fertilizer to grow the corn and process the corn oil than would be saved at the diesel pump. Maybe uranium?

Some of us can not walk very well anymore after being electrocuted on the job and having neuropathy in both feet from permanent nerve damage. But if the weather is OK and you have a short distance to go with not much to carry, walking and riding bicycles is OK. Public transportation is notoriously unreliable and never seems to be operating when you need it. People also need to realise that in USA, villages and cities are so much further apart than they are in Europe.

I heard that algae might make a good alternative fuel source.

If you can't convince them, confuse them!

Yeah (crude oil is basically composed of fossilized algae)
